What data we process

To create an account we need your name and email address. Phone number, postal code and city are optional; they help with pickup and distance search. For listings we store text, photo, price and pickup location.

Contact details between members

Phone number and city are only shown to the other party once a reservation has been explicitly confirmed. Before that, this information isn't visible to other members.

Photos

Uploaded photos are reprocessed on the server, which strips metadata such as GPS coordinates.

Location data

To convert a postal code into coordinates, we use the open Nominatim service from OpenStreetMap. Only the postal code is transmitted, not your identity.

Retention

Expired and archived listings are permanently deleted, along with their photos, after a grace period. You can have your account deleted at any time.

Your rights

You're entitled to access, correction and deletion of your data. Get in touch using the contact address provided.

Cookies

We use one technically necessary cookie for login. Analytics and advertising services are only included if explicitly enabled in the configuration.
